The Sleep Center at New York Eye & Ear Infirmary is searching for a Per Diem Translator to help our Chinese-speaking patients. Since we are a Sleep Center, the hours will be approximately 8:00 PM - 6 AM. Your services will be needed several times during the night, and when you are not translating, you can read or catch up on your homework (or sleep, if one of our comfortable beds is available)! This is a per diem position. When we need your services, we will notify you approximately 3 weeks in advance whenever possible. You must be fluent in English and Cantonese and Mandarin.

The Sleep Center at New York Eye & Ear Infirmary opened in 2005. We help adult and pediatric patients who need evaluation for sleep apnea or other sleep disorders. Services include Sleep Studies (nocturnal polysomnography), CPAP / BiPAP Titration Studies and Fatigue Studies (multiple sleep latency tests).
